Baked Whole Rainbow Trout

Baked fish is heart healthy and delicious
Ingredients
- One whole rainbow trout, dressed (about 0.4 Kg)
- Organic No-Salt seasoning
- Lime Juice
- Capers to garnish
Directions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees
- Rinse fish in cold water under faucet
- Shake off excess water
- Place on about 1.5 feet of parchment paper
- Sprinkle with lime juice liberally on skin and inside fish
- Sprinkle No-Salt Seasoning liberally on skin and inside fish
- Fold parchment paper under and around the fish to seal - tuck ends under
- Bake for about 15 minutes or until flesh is tender and flakes easily
- Let sit on counter for 15 minutes, then carefully peel skin and bones from the fish. (A kitchen knife works well for this - cut head off, then slide lengthwise under the skin gently).
- Place the 'meat' of the fish on a platter and garnish with capers.
- Enjoy!
Special Notes
- Fish is healthy! Baked in this manner it does not taste overly 'fishy'.
